How to dance at your wedding
We’re not all born to dance – and that’s perfectly fine especially since it doesn’t mean you will not be able to pull off a really amazing First Dance at your wedding. In fact, creating the perfect First Dance moment is much easier than some may think – and here are some tips to help you navigate the intimidating seas of dancing for the first time as a married couple:
- First of all, learn how to take the dancing position. The leader should place their right hand under the follower’s shoulder blade, cupping it. The follower should wrap their left hand on top of the leader’s right harm, holding their biceps. Furthermore, the follower and the leader should also clasp their hands together. Remember to maintain yourself up right and in a correct pose throughout the entire dance.
- Secondly, learn the basic box step. This is a type of dance step that works with just about every song there is, so you can rest assured that it will look amazing on your First Dance song as well. There are a lot of tutorials on how to do this online and it can be easily learned in a couple of lessons.
- Last, but not least, remember that some simple special moves can make your First Dance look even more “professional”. A simple underarm turn and a dramatic dip will make this moment more magical, more beautiful, and more unique – so don’t be afraid to learn these dance moves too.
