A Plus Photo-booths for the best Prom in Philadelphia

Should a girl skip prom because she doesn’t have enough money for a gown? And what about the guy who can’t afford a tux? If this describes you, don’t worry! Operation Prom is coming to Philadelphia to save the day!

April 12th, 2015, Operation Prom opens their doors at Temple University to give Philadelphia students the formal attire they require. Their mission is simple: To provide free prom dresses and tuxedo rentals to high school students who need them. In order to identify the students who need their help, Operation Prom asks Philadelphia School District guidance counselors to direct students to them.

If you’re not a student in the Philadelphia School District and are in need of prom wear, ask your parents to apply to Operation Prom on your behalf. To get more information, message Operation Prom’s Temple University Facebook page here or contact them through their website.

Without the help of Operation Prom there are still ways to get your hands on an affordable or even free gown. On Friday, March 28 from 6-9 PM and Saturday, March 29 from 1-4 PM, The First Baptist Church of Norristown, located at 445 Burnside Avenue is giving away hundreds of dresses, shoes, and accessories for free on a first come first serve basis. Click here or call 539-7075 for more information. In addition, prom dresses are for sale in abundance on social media. Search the hashtag #promdressforsale on Instagram, Facebook, and/or Twitter and find hundreds of beautiful “used only once” discounted gowns.

Do you own a gently used prom gown and want to make another girl’s prom dream come true? Two Philadelphia area businesses are accepting gown donations. From now until April 15, 2015, Golden Asp prom dress store in Bensalem is offering a 40% discount on accessories to anyone who donates a dress to Operation Prom. On March 19th and 20th, Philadelphia-based Strella MedSpa is hosting Operation Glass Slipper, a prom dress, tuxedo and accessories drive at its Lower Gywnedd location from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. March 19 and 20.

Of course, it’s important you book your A+ Photo Booth as soon as possible so you and your friends don’t miss the chance to pose for the camera while dressed in your finest. Senior class advisors, teachers and parents love A+ photo booths because we give schools a big discount. Each of our booths comes with an attendant and, if your prom is large and you want to implement a ticket plan so everyone gets a turn, just let us know. Added bonus: A+ prom photos feature your school logo or class year on every picture.

With A+ photo booths, students and parents may download unlimited free copies of their photos. That’s right, everyone gets unlimited, free photo downloads of themselves and their friends! We don’t watermark them so students may share them on Instagram, Snapchat, Facebook, Twitter, and Pinterest with ease. In addition, both students and parents have the option to order large prints and merchandise! Call 267-932-1300 and schedule your A+ photo booth today. We look forward to seeing your smiling faces this spring.
